The KidsCare App, developed by the Children's Oncology Group (COG), offers a valuable resource tailored for parents and caregivers. It serves as a centralized platform where essential information crucial for looking after a child with cancer can be retrieved and managed.

Account Creation

• Creating an account enables you to secure your own notes, information, appointments, and phone numbers within the App. Additionally, syncing this data across various devices is possible. Access to App content is available even without an account, with the option to register later.

Home

• The Home Tab grants quick accessibility to all functionalities in the App:
• Caring for your child
• Appointment tracking
• Journaling
• One-touch dialing
• Emergency Room Card

Information

• The Info Tab encompasses all data from the Children's Oncology Group's New Diagnosis Guide and Family Handbook, including illustrations. This data, along with guidance from your healthcare team, is specifically curated to aid in comprehending your child's illness and treatment, empowering you to provide adequate care at home.

Journal

• In the Journal section, you can monitor your child's lab results, weight, height, vital signs, treatments, and annotate notes for your healthcare providers. Furthermore, you have the ability to swiftly convert lab values and vital signs between Conventional and Metric or SI measurement units, plotting them on charts for visualization.

My Team

• The My Team tab offers convenient storage for contact details of individuals within your child's hospital and healthcare team.
